- Negotiating with the supply chain for all retail offerings except fuel.
- Negotiating contracts for services e.g. communications, insurance and security. Negotiating with the supply chain for consumables.
- Administering promotional programs.
- Provision of support services for members e.g. central billing, information and retail operation support.
- Introducing suppliers to new markets that they have not had access to.
